At Hethersett VC Primary we wanted to offer children a range of after school clubs which were not just sports orientated. The introduction of our science club, run by Dr Lucy Catto from Fossils & Fireworks has been a revelation. The club is always well subscribed, and the children thoroughly enjoy it, often sharing their experiences with staff and friends. In addition to this we have also received very good feedback from parents. I cannot recommend this enough as it has given our children access to high quality science outside the classroom: this club is a definite must for ALL schools!

Lucy's enthusiasm and knowledge of science is evident, the children always enjoy the sessions and take part in science experiments without hesitation. Lucy encourages all of the children to question what they are doing and why, she never patronises them and the children seem to really learn from her inspirational teaching.

As a home educator Dr Lucy's Science Classes offer an invaluable addition to our learning. Each lesson we have attended has been well planned with science activities that reinforces learning while encouraging children to ask questions.
